A Fremont man was arrested for false reporting after providing a fake name and birth date to Fremont Police on Saturday.
According to the Fremont Police Department, 37-year-old Miguel Grave-Lopez was arrested on suspicion of false reporting following a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Broad Street. Grave-Lopez was stopped while operating a motor vehicle displaying expired license plates.
During the stop, Grave-Lopez was unable to provide a driver’s license and provided the officer a false name and birth date. Officers used a YMCA membership card to learn Grave-Lopez’s real name and learned he had no valid driver’s license.
