A Fremont man was arrested on Sunday after he was allegedly caught with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the Fremont Police Department said Monday.
Jacob R. Fritz, 21, was arrested after officers responded to reports of a possibly ill male on Broad Street. They arrived and found Fritz walking away from the scene. After officers attempted to speak with him, he allegedly fled.
After he was apprehended, a resident in the area claimed that Fritz threw something into the yard of a nearby residence, and officers found a digital scale with a powdery residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Officers also reported finding two syringes and a glass pipe on Fritz's person that also tested positive for methamphetamine.
More methamphetamine was found inside one of Fritz's socks after he was arrested and taken to jail.
