Law enforcement believes two individuals were involved in the attempted theft of a vehicle Tuesday afternoon, Fremont Police reported.
Officers responded at 2 p.m. to 600 block of North I Street in regard to the victim reporting that a 1992 BMW parked outside of his home was broken into. Police said that the man's neighbor saw two unknown person rummaging through the vehicle.
After being notified by the neighbor, the victim went outside and the two people were gone, however, the victim noticed damage to the car's ignition switch, indicating theft as a motive.
Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle and the estimated damage is $120.
