Two Fremont men were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine following a well-being check on Thursday.
According to the Fremont Police Department, 18-year-old Jackson T.P. Vandercoy and 22-year-old Connor S. Herold were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia after officers went to a residence in the 400 block of W. 21st Street.
Officers were dispatched to the residence to check on Vandercoy after a relative expressed concern for his well-being.
Upon arrival at the scene officers learned that Vandercoy and Herold resided in the home and a search yielded drug paraphernalia with residue which tested positive for methamphetamine and a small amount of methamphetamine itself.
