An Omaha woman was arrested in Fremont on Tuesday, after a traffic stop uncovered that she was driving with a suspended license -- and in possession of methamphetamine, according to the Fremont Police Department.
Teresa M. Riskowski, 53, was stopped by officers on south Bell Street at 1:40 p.m., after she was suspected of being involved in a previous disturbance at a business on Broad Street.
During the stop, officers found she was driving with a suspended license. Officers also found that the plates on her car were fictitious and registered to a different vehicle.
Following her arrest, a search of her purse led to the discovery of a small amount of a white, powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful display of license plates, no valid registration, no proof of ownership and no proof of insurance.
