Woman arrested following complaint

A Fremont woman was arrested on multiple charges following a reported fight at a local business on Sunday.

According to the Fremont Police Department, 30-year-old Lillian D. Kinkade was arrested following a fight disturbance complaint at a business in the 2200 block of N. Broad Street at approximately 12:30 a.m.

While responding to the fight complaint officers were told that the people involved had left the scene in a vehicle. An officer responding to the call saw a car matching that one of the persons had left in and performed a traffic stop in the area of 16th and Grant streets.

Kinkade was the driver of the vehicle and the officer noted characteristics consistent with the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

According to police, Kinkade was uncooperative and was placed under arrest for obstructing a police officer. She also refused to comply with a chemical test and was also charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Man arrested after providing false name

A Fremont man was arrested for false reporting after providing a fake name and birth date to Fremont Police on Saturday.

According to the Fremont Police Department, 37-year-old Miguel Grave-Lopez was arrested on suspicion of false reporting following a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Broad Street. Grave-Lopez was stopped while operating a motor vehicle displaying expired license plates.

During the stop, Grave-Lopez was unable to provide a driver’s license and provided the officer a false name and birth date. Officers used a YMCA membership card to learn Grave-Lopez’s real name and learned he had no valid driver’s license.

Grave-Lopez was also charged with no operator’s license and no vehicle registration.
