November 3, 1928 – November 4, 2018
Donna J. Lamprecht was born to Edmund and Cora (Fredriksen) Mallette on Nov. 3, 1928, in rural Oakland. She passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at the Hooper Care Center in Hooper at the age of 90.
Donna grew up on a farm outside of Uehling and graduated from Uehling High School.
On Feb. 4, 1951, she married Robert Schafersman. They lived on a farm just east of Winslow. Donna and Bob raised three daughters: Sandy, Cindy and Amy.
Donna was an avid bridge player, enjoyed the Elkhorn Valley Golf Course in Hooper for many years, was active at Redeemer Lutheran Church and other groups around the Hooperinslow area.
After Bob passed in 1986, Donna married LaVerne Lamprecht on March 20, 1992. They spent and enjoyed time traveling all over the world together.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; daughter, Cindy; grandson, Preston Turner; and brother, Pat Mallette.
She is survived by her husband, LaVerne of Fremont; daughters, Sandy (Dexter) Pate of San Angelo, Texas, Amy (Kevin) Lemmers of Fremont; five grandchildren, Kelsey, Gage, Sidnee and Chase, Jesse (Kelsey) Ronk; two great-grandsons; stepdaughter, Kathy (Jim) Keller of Manilla, Iowa; stepgrandchildren, Jeff (Amy) Keller, Kim (Charles) Cymbor; five stepgreat-grandsons; sister, Betty Vackiner of Valentine and her son, Jeff Vackiner; sister-in-law, Helen Mallette of Blair; and her two children, Lori Hansen and Pat Mallette.
The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. There is no visitation. Burial will be in Hooper Cemetery at a later date.
