Mary E. Moseman, 88, of Fremont passed away Tuesday evening, March 6, 2018, in the Pathfinder Place, Fremont.
Mary was born on Feb. 15, 1930, in Santee, Nebraska, to Wesley and Maudie (Estes) Dooley. She graduated from high school in Wausa, Nebraska, in 1948, then attended Wayne State College. She was a teacher in Bloomfield, Nebraska, until meeting and marrying Clinton Moseman in 1949.
The couple came to Fremont in 1952, where Clinton was a long-time Hormel employee. Mary worked in the cafeteria at Fremont Medical Center for 35 years. She will be deeply missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Clinton on Dec. 31, 2010, and brothers, Eugene, Wilford, Gilbert, and sisters, Helen Hagelstein and Sylvia Bertram.
Survivors include: three sons, David (Donita) Moseman, Omaha, John (Mary) Moseman, Fremont, Elwin (Lorin) Moseman, Elkhorn; daughter, Linda (Robert) Peterson, Norfolk; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, her twin, Della Freberg, Omaha, and Carol Bolton, Tennessee.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday (March 12) at First Lutheran Church (3200 E. Military). The committal will be in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary on Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
