The theme for the 2018 National Library Week is “Libraries Lead”. According to the American Library Association (ALA), “First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries—school, public, academic and special – participate” (2018).
Keene Memorial Library is proud of the programs and services we provide to all Fremont patrons and work hard to be leaders in the community. Over the past few weeks, I have been highlighting some of the programming and services we have offered. In May, check out our website to view the 2016-17 Annual Report to see the statistics of the hard work and dedication we put into this year. You can get a picture of the dedication and leadership of these individuals listed above.
