Gov. Pete Ricketts will lead a Nebraska trade mission to Germany this coming November.

Ricketts announced plans to travel to Berlin, Frankfurt and the Hanover and Dusseldorf regions of Germany during remarks at the Midwest International Trade Association's annual world trade conference in La Vista this week.

"Germany is a global economic force with advanced capabilities in manufacturing, biotechnology and agriculture," the governor said.

"Engaging with Germany is imperative in order to continue to raise Nebraska's visibility with companies in the country, several of which already invest in Nebraska."
