    SEWARD – Midland University’s men’s basketball team opened Great Plains Athletic Conference play Tuesday with an 82-55 road loss to Concordia University.

      The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the new dates for its postponed fall championships on Thursday. Its National Administrative Committee (NAC) convened to approve the new dates, and in some cases, new locations, for the spring of 2021.

      CRETE — Archbishop Bergan graduate Dylan Kucera and Fremont native Ross McMahon had memorable performances recently for Midland University at the Ward Haylett Indoor Track Invitational.

      Jamestown used a 12-0 second-half run to rally past Midland University 85-76 on Thursday night in a Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s basketball game.

      Second-ranked Morningside had five players score in double figures on its way to defeating Midland University 92-66 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night.

      Central Methodist University broke to a 20-5 first-quarter lead and went on to defeat Midland University 87-56 on Saturday night in women’s basketball at the Wikert Event Center.
