Nebraska football season-ticket holders will have their first opportunity to renew their 2019 tickets beginning next week, and most will see a slight increase in price, according to a university news release.
A public season ticket for the seven-game home schedule in 2019 will cost $420, an average of $60 per game. The increase of $3 per game is the first in season-ticket prices since 2015. Additionally, season-ticket prices rose just $1 per game between 2011 and 2018 ($56 from 2011-14; $57 from 2015-18).
Season-ticket holders once again will receive 30 percent savings as compared to the single-game ticket prices. Student-ticket prices will be unchanged from the 2018 season, while faculty/staff tickets will be $56 per game — also a $3 increase per game ($392 for seven).
Nebraska’s home schedule will feature five Big Ten Conference games, beginning with a visit by defending Big Ten champion Ohio State on Sept. 28. NU will play host to 2018 Big Ten West Division champ Northwestern one week later.
The Huskers will host Indiana on Oct. 26, marking the Hoosiers’ first visit to Lincoln since Nebraska joined the Big Ten in 2011. The Big Ten home schedule concludes with November visits by division rivals Wisconsin and Iowa.
The Huskers’ open their home schedule with a pair of nonconference games, beginning with the Aug. 31 season opener against South Alabama, and a Sept. 14 contest against 2018 Mid-American Conference champion Northern Illinois.
Nebraska fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2019 Huskers at the Red-White Spring Game, set for April 13. Ticket information, game time and other spring game details will be announced in coming months.
Season-ticket invoices will be sent via e-mail Monday and the e-mail will include information on payment options, plans and renewal deadlines.
